"My Exit Strategy"

My business venture is a non-profit organization that will educate minorities and young people on financial literacy. The location of my program will be in Palm Beach County. The program will consist of budgeting, retirement, savings, investments, and tax preparations workshops. All of the workshops will be organized by the workers, and the volunteers will aid in the Child Care while the parents are in the workshops.
1.     In the next five years after commencing my program, I am planning on merging it with an already organization in Palm Beach County. There will be a condition, and that is my continuing assistance to the program.
2.     There is a reason for my exit strategy. Within five years of graduating the University of Florida, I am planning on attending Law School. This means that I definitely need to have an exit strategy.
3.     My decision has influenced how my program will be set up. The program will be portable in a sense that it can be merged without any problem with another organization. The merging will consist of large amounts information.

a.     My venture will be created only for the growth of the community and through it I will be satisfied to have been part of this venture that will benefit my target market.

  1. Ana,
What a wonderful and important concept. I think that its very important to have an exit strategy before a concept is brought to life because of the fact that sometimes the company will revolve around the exit strategy. Its impressive that you already know which business you will wan to merge with as this will help give you direction for where to take the business. Financial literacy is such an important thing to have and a lot of times poorer communities stay poor because of lack of education. This really is a great idea! Good luck! 3. Ana,

I like that you are thinking about the future and adjusting your course based on what you want. Law school is a great opportunity so establishing an exit plan that allows you to follow your passion and not stretch yourself too thin is important.
